We've Simplified the Look of Our Selection Dropdown Menu to Improve Its Usability
Every page in your Apollo App with the ability to multi-select includes a button with an empty checkbox logo) as always. Now whenever you hit that button, you're presented with powerful, simplified options for how much of your currently-filtered list you'd like to select.
No Matter which option you choose, the selection button itself will transform to display your current number of selected items whenever you use the dropdown:
Select Page
Selects only the (10, 25, or 50) items on your current page (there is no option to specify a number of items "per company" to select). Be sure to look to the upper-right corner to confirm how many items you're viewing per page and which page you're on in the current list:
Select All
Selects every item in the current filtered list (there is no option to specify a number of items "per company" to select). Whenever you use this option, the number selected will always be equal to the total number of items you're currently filtered to view:
Select _ People
Selects the number of items in the list you specify in the blank. This is the only option that lets you specify a certain number of items per company to select, within the total you specify in the write-in field, if and only if you select the checkbox for that.
If you want to select the entirety of your currently filtered list, minus multiple people from the same company, put the list Total into the write-in field, check the box for Max _ person per company, specify the number per company you want in the write-in field, and (you have to) click Apply.
Clear Selection
Once you've manually selected any items in your list (using the checkboxes to the left of each) and/or used any of the multi-select options listed above, you have to click Clear Selection to clear your current selection and be able to use any other selection option.
In other words, if there's any items showing as selected at the top of the selection menu, you have to click Clear Selection to use any option in the menu:
