Efficiently View Groups of Related Pre-Built Reports In our Standard Dashboards
The default dashboards that come pre-built for you using our Default Reports are a fast and effective way to get an overview of many different aspects of all the hard work you've put into Apollo!
We offer 20 dashboards to get you started, and you can also build out your own custom dashboards in any way you want!
How To Use Standard Dashboards
Our dashboards all follow a general pattern, which is illustrated by our Best Industries dashboard, found in the "Improving Targeting" folder on the left when you navigate to Analytics 2.0 in the main left menu and click to view the Dashboards tab in the top-left of that page.
At the top you'll find data tables containing all the info from the various reports that make up the dashboard:
This allows you to view all the source data at a glance. However, as you scroll down you will find the individual metrics broken out into their own visualized graphs, so you can drill down into the ones that interest you the most. In the case of the "Best industries" dashboard, here's part of what you'd find:
Each of the 20 pre-built dashboards offer a look into something different, but they all generally follow the same template, with the holistic data table at the top and the more granular (not to mention more visually appealing) individual metric reports that relate to the dashboard topic below.
If you want to make alterations to any of the standard dashboards you can clone then, and then edit the new clone you've made (since we do not allow you to actually edit the standard dashboards):
This section allows you to see how well you're targeting your contacts. Each dashboard breaks down a common metric that you can filter your leads and contacts by (ie titles, industries, and state) and shows you the success you're having with them. This provides you with valuable data that should inform the kind of leads you prospect, and the kinds of contacts you reach out to. For example, if you notice that you have much better success when messaging people with a certain title (using the Best Titles dashboard), and that you have a high level of success in New York and California (using the Best States dashboard), then you could start focusing more of your effort there.
This section will break down the efficacy of your messaging, both the messaging itself (subject lines, templates, and sequences) and the timing of the messages (sequence step). You can examine how different templates are performing (check out this article to make sure you're getting those stats!) with the Best Templates dashboard, and alter your future messaging to reflect what is getting through to your contacts. You can also check in to see which sequence step is most effective, using the Best Sequence Step dashboard. This will let you know if your contacts respond well to longer sequences, or if you're better off keeping things short and sweet. In addition, you can break things down all the way to email subject lines, and explore what resonates most effectively with your target audience.
This section is geared towards internal performance, so you can examine how well you and your team are executing. This includes dashboards broken down into things like Rep Conversion Rate (% of emails opened, replied, and interested by rep), Rep Activities (raw numbers of activities by rep like emails sent, calls dialed, and tasks completed), and the Manager Dashboard (which brings all of the most impactful reports all into one spot).
This is just the tip of the proverbial Analytics iceberg, since you can create your own reports and dashboards utilizing those custom reports all from scratch:
