View Pre-Built Reports for a Quick Look at Some of the Most Actionable Metrics and Dimensions We Track
Within the Reports tab of your Analytics page, you'll see eight folders of standard reports, all of which are grouped by type:
- SDR Call Efficiency
- SDR Email Efficiency
- SDR Activity
- Improving Messaging
- Improving Execution
- Improving Targeting
- Cockpit Reports - Sales Manager
- Cockpit Reports - Sales Rep
Each folder contains a number of reports that have already had the necessary metrics and dimensions added in. While you can always create your own custom reports, these pre-built reports allow you to easily see the high-level stats you're interested in.
How to (Clone &) Edit Standard Reports
Though you can't Edit them, you CAN Clone any prebuilt report if you want to add your own date range, filters, and/or further customize the metrics, dimensions, and report table/visualization. This goes for all standard reports, across all three folders:
SDR Call Efficiency
This group of pre-built reports will give you deeper insight into what types of companies and people are responding positively to your calls made through Apollo.
SDR Email Efficiency
This group of pre-built reports will give you deeper insight into what types of companies and people are responding positively to your emails sent through Apollo, as well as what types of subject lines or content is the most effective.
SDR Activity
This group of pre-built reports will give you information on the usage of your sequences and templates, as well as the demographics of who your team is reaching out to the most.
Improving Messaging
The number of messages you need to send before a lead responds and which messaging gets the most positive responses are a couple of the most common, actionable questions for all sales teams. Thanks to the standard reports we provide, you can quickly answer these questions and much more by first opening up the 'Improving Messaging' folder.
You'll see a number of reports related to the success of your sequence steps, email templates and their subject lines, and calls, i.e. the messaging-related steps in your Sequences.
For example, view the 'Sequence Step X % Emails Replied' to hone in on which email steps, across all your sequences, garnered the most replies from your Contacts, and the 'Sequence Step X % Emails Interested' to look further into which of those reply rates reflect positive responses.
Improving Execution
This section offers a wide variety of reports that are most useful to sales managers or reps who are curious about how their productivity compares to their colleagues'. In it, you'll see reports about things like who is making the most calls, who is sending the most emails, and who is generating the most engagement:
Improving Targeting
This set of reports is the most comprehensive of the three, and that's because of the large number of dimensions we offer for targeting. The reports in here will help you narrow down who you are most successful at engaging, thereby allowing you to focus on finding and messaging more of them instead of wasting valuable time targeting people you have less success selling to.
The example below shows the 'All Company Size Success Rates Chart', which helps visualize the cohort of companies (by size) that you have the most success with:
Cockpit Reports - Sales Manager
This group of reports will give managers a great overview of how their team is doing overall. Measure both team output and team efficiency - emails, calls, sequences. This is your one-stop bird's eye view of your team.
Cockpit Reports - Sales Rep
This group of reports will give reps a great overview of how they is doing overall. Measure your output and efficiency - emails, calls, sequences. Use this to hone your approach and narrow down your audience to those most likely to convert.
Standard reports are a great way to start leveraging Analytics 2.0 without ever having to get creative with the metrics, dimensions, and filters that you want to measure by. After you get used to them, however, you will be ready to begin building custom reports of your very own.
