Apollo Tracks and Notifies You Via Email Whenever You Miss An Inbound Call to Your Apollo Phone Number
If you're away from your computer or on another call using the Apollo in-app dialer, you might miss a call back to your Apollo phone number from a Contact looking to get in touch with you. Whenever this happens, Apollo logs that call as a "Missed Call" to the user whose Apollo number was called on the Calls page and sends an email notification to your (login) email.
Important: Since each of your Apollo Users can set up their own phone number, these email notifications are "user-specific" in that we'll email only the user associated with the Apollo phone number that was called.
Missed Call Email Notifications
If the phone number that called you is associated with an existing Apollo Contact:
If that phone number isn't yet associated with an Apollo Contact:
- Sent from "Apollo Support"
- Subject line: "Apollo - Missed Call from {Name of Contact (if that contact/phone number is already in your Apollo Contact database) + phone number that called you} @ {the exact date/time you missed the call}
- The body of the email contains the same info, plus a link directly to the missed call record in Apollo, from which you can call back with a single click and/or view the contact and set a task to call them back:
Missed Call Records
The link in the email notification brings you to a missed call record that will never include a set purpose, disposition, or notes (since you didn't actual receive/process the call those would never be filled out), but does include the details of the contact who tried to call you and a link to call them back immediately:
- Click "Call Back" to call that contact back on the number they called you from in the Apollo in-app dialer
- Or click the contact's name to navigate to their contact profile, where you can create a "New Task" in the upper-right corner of the page to call them back at a later date
- If the phone number that called you is not currently associated with a contact in your Apollo contact database, you still have the option to "Call Back", and you can roll over the phone number and click "Edit" to associate it with any contact in your Apollo database:
