Once Integrated with Salesforce, Apollo Can See Any Views You Have Set Up
In Salesforce, 'Views' (detailed here) allow you to organize records based on the information you have in SFDC. In this sense, they are exactly the same as the 'Saved Views' that can be created in Apollo (detailed here).
While we allow you to configure which Salesforce fields are synced with Apollo, you may not want to create a custom field for every piece of information that you track in SFDC. If you don't want certain SFDC information to be visible directly in Apollo (either because it's not necessary or because it's sensitive) -- but still want to filter your contacts off of it -- then our 'Salesforce View' filter is exactly what you need -
- Important Note: It is not possible to combine Apollo-based filters with Salesforce Views. You can, however, take Apollo-based actions (such as adding the records to a list) on up to 2k records from a given Salesforce View.
Any Salesforce Views that are visible to your connected SFDC account will be listed in the drop-down(s) shown above (go here for more detail on connecting SFDC to Apollo).
Selecting Lead View under 'View Type', will show you the views that are listed in Leads > View (in SFDC Classic) -
Selecting Contact View, on the other hand, will show you the views that are listed in Contacts > View (in SFDC Classic) -
