Cockpit Is a Custom Home Page For All Your Most Actionable Apollo Views and Reports
Cockpit allows you to see views and reports from any page in Apollo, all in one place. Specifically, this includes:
- Views from the Prospect Searcher page
- Views from the Contacts page
- Views from the Accounts page
- Views from the Tasks page
- Views from the Triggers page
- Reports from the Analytics 2.0 page

- Low performing sequences (based on the number of sent an interested emails)
After choosing either the Sales Rep or Sales Manager cockpit, you can always change your selection by using the menu shown at the top left -
If you'd like to create your own cockpit from scratch or modify one of the two defaults, then you will need to use the Actions menu shown at the top right -
To create a brand new cockpit, click New. To edit one of the defaults, however, you will first need to click Clone. This will give you a new version that you can personalize, so as to not overwrite what we have set on the default.
In either case, you will also need to name your cockpit and then decide whether it will be private or public. After that you can then add new tiles from the right-hand menu, as well as modify their layout (more on this here) -
Types of Cockpit Tiles
Cockpit allows you to create tiles from any views or reports in Apollo. If you don't have any of these yet, however, then you can always use the system defaults that are available at the bottom of each tile type.
In order of appearance (top down), Cockpit can create tiles that show you:
- Contacts from any saved view in the People tab of the Prospect Searcher page (here) -
- Accounts from any saved view in the Companies tab of the Prospect Searcher page (here) -
- Contacts from any saved view in the Contacts page (here) -
- Accounts from any saved view in the Accounts page (here) -
- Tasks from any saved view in the Tasks page (here) -
- Events from any saved view in the Triggers page (here) -
- Any report from Analytics 2.0 (here) -
Note: 'Favorite Reports' are private, public, or standard reports that you have favorited. 'Custom Reports' are private and public reports created by you or your team. 'Standard Reports' are pre-built reports that are available to all apps and users.
Notes:
- All 'Views' = 'Saved Views' in Apollo, which are detailed here.
- If your app has custom reports or views, they will appear in these menus. Private views will appear in the 'My Views' section of each menu, and team views will appear in the 'Public Team Views' section of each menu.
Next Steps
If your app does not yet have any saved views or reports that you can add as tiles, and you don't want to use the system defaults that we provide, then read through this article next.
Before doing this, however, be sure to save your first cockpit layout (even if it is empty) so that you can add your new reports and views to it later. It isn't possible to create cockpit layouts outside of Cockpit, so that's why this is recommended.
If your app already has saved views and reports that you can leverage as cockpit tiles, then read through this article next.
