The Contact Will Not Be Active in the Same Sequence It Was Removed From
If you remove a contact that returned a bounced email from a sequence, adding them back to the sequence will not activate them in any step in the sequence:
Our safeguard will not allow contacts with a bounced email to move forward in the same sequence. So, in order to reactivate the contact in the sequence, you'd need to:
1) Correct the email address that bounced
Navigate to the contact's profile, hover over the email address field and then, click Edit:
2) Retry sending the bounced email to the contact
Select the contact's Activities tab, locate the bounced email and then, click on ... to bring up the dropdown menu. In the menu, select Retry:
- Important Note: We will retry sending the bounced email with the updated email address.
As soon as we detect the bounced email is sent successfully, the contact will be reactivated in the sequence and will continue onto the next sequence step.
