When a message fails to send, we'll show you the reason for the message failure and three options to move forward.
Navigate to the contact > Activities > locate the message not sent > select the '...' option:
Retry
Select this option to retry sending the message.
Skip and Continue Sequence
Select this option to skip the message and move the contact to the next step of the sequence.
Delete and Finish Sequence
Select this option to delete the message and mark the contact as 'finished' in the sequence.
Important Notes:
- If the message is the last step of the sequence, skipping it will mark the contact as 'finished'.
- If you choose to retry or skip the message, you'd still need to fix the email based on the stated reason for the delivery failure in order to send future emails to this contact. This resource reviews all of the reasons and how to fix them.
You can also locate these options on the sequence level by navigating to the sequence > Emails tab > locate the message not sent > select the '...' option:
