Overview
The Apollo Chrome extension streamlines the process of using the LinkedIn Sales Navigator to target qualified prospects, immediately request their contact information, and automate prospect engagement.
Use the Sales Nav and Apollo to build a curated prospect lists AND complete your contact research in LinkedIn without needing to leave your browser tab.
1. Install the Apollo Chrome Extension
Install the Apollo Chrome Extension using this link. The Chrome Extension will embed elements within LinkedIn for you to take quick actions, make updates to records, and log activities without ever leaving your tab. In addition, you can still open a smart sidebar in your web browser for additional context and actions. Reduce your time clicking and loading records so you can focus on accomplishing your revenue goals.
2. Find your Prospects on LinkedIn
Navigate to either a list of leads you want to prospect, or head to an individual profile.
3. Select prospects one-by-one, or in bulk
View from a list in LinkedIn
First, select the leads you would like to prospect (1a or 1b). Then, take a bulk action via one of the bulk action buttons at the top (2). You can save the selected leads, which will cost a data credit per lead, and give you their contact information. You can also email them, add them to an Outreach sequence (if you have our Outreach integration), or add them to an Apollo list along with saving the leads.
You can also take singular actions with the buttons at the bottom of each lead card (3).
You can request their email address, request their Direct Dial, or save the lead.
Note: Any list of people in LinkedIn will have these Apollo actions available, not just the view in the screenshot above.
View from individual LinkedIn Profile
Click on the Apollo icon to open a side bar with actions you can take based on the page you are on. Here we can prospect lead information and take other actions on the lead's page we are on, view insights about the company they work for (technologies they use, hiring information, and funding rounds), view other saved info you already have on their colleagues, view any activities you have recorded in Apollo about their company, and access other miscellaneous actions in the last tab.
Note: You can drag the Apollo icon to any part of the page if you would like to reposition where the window opens.
Open the Apollo Extension sidebar for enhanced functionality
By clicking on the Apollo icon on the right-hand-side of your screen, you can open the extension's full sidebar, which has enhanced functionality.
What is displayed in the sidebar will vary based on the webpage you are on. If you are viewing a contact in LinkedIn for example, you will see their full information you have stored in Apollo, and you would be able to take all the actions you could with the embedded elements of the extension, plus edit their contact stage, add to a list or sequence, and make phone calls:
