When a Contact Has a Job Change Detected, Their New Title and Company Will Appear Beneath Them
As long as you are using Table View (highlighted above at the top right) to view the People page, you will be able to see any updates that are available for your saved contacts.
Updating an Individual Contact to Reflect a Job Change
Any contact that has a new job detected will have their new title and company listed within the purple bar shown in the screenshot above. This bar will always appear underneath the contact that it applies to.
Accepting Individual Updates
To accept an update for an individual contact, click on the button found to the left of the update visualization (highlighted above). Doing this will cause an update modal to appear (shown below), which will then prompt you to either update the existing contact or create a new one based on the job change information.
Updating the existing contact will cost one credit, but only if we find a verified email for it. Aside from the contact's old job title and company, no other information will be changed after the update is completed.
Creating a new contact will also cost one credit, but only if we find a verified email for it. In this scenario, the old contact will not be updated. Instead, an entirely new one will be created based on the job change information.
When creating a new contact from a job change, the modal will offer additional settings that allow you to choose the contact's owner (required), add it to a list (optional), and add it to a sequence (optional). For the old contact, this modal will also allow you to set its new stage (required), as well as mark any of its sequences as finished (the latter setting will help prevent any auto messages from being delivered to an outdated contact).
Rejecting Individual Updates
To reject an update for an individual contact, click on the button found to the left of the update visualization (highlighted above). This will cause a confirmation modal to appear, as shown below. Once Yes, Reject is clicked, the contact's listed job change to be removed. From there, another update will not appear until a totally new job is detected.
Updating Multiple Contacts to Reflect Job Changes
Any time you are viewing the Total or Saved tabs of the People page, and there is at least one job change available for your saved contacts, you will see the badge highlighted in the screenshot above. The number inside of it will always reflect the number of job changes detected for the listed contacts. Note that this number can fluctuate depending on whether or not you have any filters applied.
Clicking the badge will then cause the Job Change filter to be applied, as shown below:
From here, you can either accept or reject the updates in bulk by first selecting the contacts you want to take action on (shown below).
After some contacts with job changes are selected, click the Bulk Update Job Changes button (also shown below) and select either Update or Create New or Reject Update:
