Sync Your Apollo Contacts to Salesloft
If you use Apollo for data, but house all of your engagement within Salesloft, then this integration is for you! Connecting your Salesloft account allows you to push Apollo contacts directly into Salesloft. Once linked, you can export your contacts from the People page, Company Profiles, and Contact Profiles. The integration also allows you to deploy Apollo contacts directly into your Salesloft cadences, thereby allowing you to remove as many follow-up steps as possible when working between the two platforms.
Furthermore, contacts that are pushed to Salesloft will automatically have the following attributes synced (as long as they are also present in Apollo):
- First Name
- Last Name
- Linkedin URL
- Website URL
- Title
- City
- State
- Country
- Phone
Setup
Team-Wide Setup
To enable the integration for your Apollo team, go to Settings > Integrations and click the Connect button, shown below:
This will cause an authentication modal to appear in a separate tab, where you'll then be taken to a login portal for Salesloft. At this point, be sure to connect an admin account for Salesloft. Connecting an admin account will help ensure that your users can access all of their Salesloft team cadences within Apollo. Once your Salesloft admin credentials are authenticated, you will see a confirmation modal that indicates the connection was successful. Click Finish to complete setup:
- Important Note: To help save time, the authentication modal will be able to detect if you are already logged into Salesloft within another window, and will automatically populate your credentials accordingly. To use someone else's credentials, be sure to log out of Salesloft everywhere else first.
User-Specific Setup
If you have personal cadences that you would like to be able to access within Apollo, and your Salesloft account is not the one that was connected initially, then you will be able to connect your account separately.
To do this, go to Settings > Integrations and click the View button, shown below:
This will bring you to the page shown below, where you will be able to connect your personal account to Apollo. Once linked, you - and only you - will be able to see and add contacts to your personal cadences from within Apollo:
If you don't have access to Settings > Integrations due to your permission profile, however, then you can also connect your Salesloft account from Settings > You, as shown below:
Pushing Contacts Into Salesloft
If you are looking to push contacts into Salesloft, but don't necessarily want to add them to an Salesloft cadence yet, then you can do so from the following locations:
The People Page
Once you are on the People page, you can add your saved contacts to Salesloft by selecting them in the list, clicking the Salesloft button, and then selecting "Push Contacts to Salesloft", as shown below:
Company Profiles
If you are on a saved company profile and are viewing its People tab, you will similarly be able to add your saved contacts to Salesloft by selecting them in the list, clicking the Salesloft button, and then selecting "Push Contacts to Salesloft":

If you are viewing a saved contact's profile, you can push the record to Salesloft by clicking the Salesloft button at the top right of the page and then selecting "Push Contact to Salesloft":
Adding Contacts to a Salesloft Cadence
Aside from pushing Apollo contacts into Salesloft, the integration also supports deploying them directly into your Salesloft cadences. This can be done from all of the same locations as above, with a couple of additions:
The People Page
When viewing the People page, you can deploy both saved and net new people directly into your Salesloft cadences.
To push saved contacts to an Salesloft sequence, first click on the Saved tab, select some contacts, open the Salelsoft button, and then select "Add Contacts to a Salesloft cadence":
Adding net new people to a Salesloft cadence, however, can be done within the modal that appears after selecting people in the Net New tab and clicking the Save button, as shown below:
Company Profiles
Just like with the People page, you can also add saved and net new people to Salesloft cadences from a company profile.
To add saved people to a Salesloft cadence from here, first navigate to its People tab and then view the company's saved people. From there, select some people, open the Salesloft button, and then click "Add Contacts to a Salesloft cadence":
To add net new people to a Salesloft cadence, navigate to the company's People tab, select some people in the Net New tab, and then click Save:
Saved Contact Profiles
Adding a saved contact to a Salesloft cadence can also be done directly from their profile. To do so, click the Salesloft button at the top right of their page and select "Add Contact to Salesloft Cadence":
Selecting a Salesloft Cadence and User
Once the Salesloft cadence modal appears (after following any of the steps above), you will be able to select any cadence that the connected Salesloft account has access to. Similarly, you will also be able to select which Salesloft user you want to send messages from:
If you don't see the cadence or user that you are looking for, however, then click the "Refresh your Salesloft cadences and users" button to ensure that we're showing the most up-to-date options from Salesloft.
- Important Notes:
- We will only show up to 100 users in the dropdown at once. If you can't find the user you want after clicking the refresh button, try typing it into the field instead so we can run a search.
- If you select a personal cadence from Salesloft, we must default to your account's mailbox as the send-from value.
Troubleshooting
Activity Logs
Pushing a contact to Salesloft and/or adding them to a cadence will always cause an activity log to be shown under the Activities tab of the respective contact(s):
If you don't see an activity log here for the action that you took, then we first recommend taking that action one more time before troubleshooting further.
Pushing a Contact
Once a contact has been successfully pushed to Salesloft, you will see a small Salesloft button under the contact's name in Apollo. Clicking this button will then bring you directly to the synced contact in Salesloft:
If the button is missing, however, then it's because the contact was either never pushed, or the original push attempt failed. To retry the push, click the Salesloft button at the top right of the contact's profile and select "Push Contact to Salesloft":
Adding a Contact to a Cadence and Selecting a User
If you recently created a cadence or user in Salesloft, but are not seeing either of them within Apollo, then it could be because the integration needs to be refreshed. To manually initiate a refresh, click the "Refresh your Salesloft cadences and users" button in the Salesloft cadence modal:
If you are still not seeing your cadences or users after clicking the refresh button, however, then one last troubleshooting step is making sure that your personal Salesloft account has been connected to Apollo (detailed in the Setup > User-Specific Setup section above). We will only be able to show your personal cadences and users if your own Salesloft account is connected to Apollo, so that's why it's important to connect it. If you don't, then you will only be able to see team cadences in the cadence modal.
